Tom Arban Photography is a Toronto based architectural photography studio. With an extensive portfolio spanning both architectural and travel photography we are constantly searching for new challenges locally and globally.
Tom arban began his career as an architect, graduating from the university of toronto in 1996. He worked for teeple architects for eight years designing and later documenting the studio’s projects through photography, before leaving the practice of architecture altogether. Since then, he has become one of the most respected architectural photographers in the industry.
The decision to shift from architectural practice to architectural photography further satisfied an intense desire to explore the profound relationships between land, nature, people and form.
“In His Approach To Architectural Photography, Tom Is Drawn To Reveal How Built Space Is Animated By People And Seasons And The Infinite Qualities Of Light. In His Travel Photography, Tom Also Documents More Intimate Moments; Instances To Share With Friends And Family Back Home. Tom’s Eye For Composition, Form, Texture – Elements Innate To Architecture – And Their Dramatic Context Of Nature, City And Light, Produce Powerfully Engaging Images That Are Irresistible To The Passing Eye.”
